1990 Started Martial Arts Training in karate (Reached Blue
Belt)
1991 Started
Training In Chinese Kung Fu with Lucky Crane (Wutan UK) I achieved my Yellow Belt within a month.
1992 Finished A Levels and Began studies in Art at Portsmouth University.
1993 My Training
with Wutan continued Starting kickboxing, and Tai Chi. My Studies Moved to
Southampton Institute (now Called Southampton Solent University). Where I began a HND in Illustration.
1994 I began
Teaching Kung Fu and Kickboxing, and took inspiration from my training to
produce Art for Course work.
1995 Completed My
studies at Southampton Institute, and began fulltime teaching in Wutan.
1996 Built up my Classes and began to Teach Tai chi
1997 Began training for National and International
Competitions
1998 Competed at the
European Championships in Athens Greece, (won Bronze medal for Southern Fist) Appointed as one
of 12 Disciples of Master Wu in the UK.
1999 Attained a
Place in the British Team to Compete in the World Championships in Hong Kong.
Took part in the BBC Proms in the Park displaying to an audience of 15,000,
along side famous acts like, charlotte church, and S-Club Seven.
2000 Competed at the
European Championships in Rotterdam Holland. (Won silver medal)
2001 Member of
British Team for World championships in Armenia. (Unattended due to British boycott of Championships)
Attained IWUF International Judge Status.
2002 Final European
championships as a competitor (Gold Medal Winner Portugal). Retired from
Competitive Competition, to start career.(Began self Study to become a
Computer Engineer, MCSE)
2003 Attended first International Competition as an
International Judge. Macau China
Started to work as an IT support
Officer at Brockenhurst College.
2004 Attended
European Championships As European Judge – Moscow Russia. Changed Jobs to begin working as a Computer Engineer
– Teksys and ¾ the way through my MCSE.
Re-qualified as an International Judge – Beijing China Grade B
2005 Completed MCSE
to qualify as Microsoft Systems Engineer, Attended the World Championships
in Hanoi - Vietnam
2006 Received a work
promotion to Technical Consultant. Promoted to European Head Judge - Venice Italy
2007 Attended the
Pre Olympic Championships in Beijing China as a selected Impartial Judge. Became a Citrix CCA and
VMware VCP qualified Consultant.
2008 Selected as one
of two European Judges to work as an International Judge at the Olympic
Martial Arts Competition China – August 2008
